Same SideAdvisory

About us

Built because we were tired of the pitch.

Same Side Advisory exists for a simple reason: too many organizations are being sold the same AI story wrapped in a new deck — “this will change everything” — when a lot of what's on offer is vaporware, or work your own people could do once they're fluent with the tools.

We sit on your side of the table. We listen to where you are. We help you cut the noise, learn what's real, and get results — without buying a product we happen to resell.

Why we started

Vendor theater

Same models, new deck. The pitch promises transformation; delivery is a wrapper, a pilot that never lands, or work your own people could do once they are fluent.

Snake-oil "AI teams"

Titles and confidence without the scar tissue of having bought, built, or run the work. Buyers pay for theater while the real decisions sit unanswered.

Buzzword vs doing

Pressure to "do AI" without a practical path. Lots of talk. Little judgment about what is real, what to ignore, and what your people can keep running.

Same Side was founded under that principle: stop rewarding vaporware and unqualified talk. Help people understand the landscape, get practical skills, and build useful AI work on the inside — with advisory when you need a path, and workshops when your team needs to get good.

How we work

Understanding meeting

We listen to where you are, map the pressure and options, and leave you with clarity on whether to continue — no menu, no bake-off.

Advisory

Path design, small wins, and a second read when vendors and decisions keep arriving — principal-led, on your side of the table.

Practical AI workshops

Teach judgment and useful habits on real work so your team can run small wins after we leave. No software to sell.

We don't bless software bake-offs. We don't pretend to be your law firm. We don't sell a platform.

Experience here means having sat through the pitches, watched what actually ships, and helped leaders cut noise into a path their people can run — not a résumé of buzzwords. Every engagement is principal-led. You are not handed off after the first conversation.
